Sadly, nowadays so many people lack interest in their own self-care, health, wellbeing and life. Maybe there’s many reasons, such as apathy, overwhelm, conditioning or being in a hypnotic-type trance? Many just want to bury their heads in the sand, fall asleep and pretend that all’s ok.
I’m not interested! … he instantly declared after I asked him if he’s done any research about his health. The only remark that I got was that my doctor and the government will take care of me. Interestingly, many people are not interested in many things … maybe in football, drinking, money and fast cars, yet especially not when it comes to taking responsibility for self-care, health, wellbeing and our life-style.
Self deception arises from the lies that we tell our-self. Distraction is also a great deception technique. The myriad of forms of modern day entertainment is a great way to take our eye off the target. Yet to break-through self deception and sabotage we need to awaken and gain clarity as to what’s really going on.
One of the main reason that most people are not interested in self-care is because they’re feeling unresolved hurt and are wounded. Hence they find it’s too painful to feel any love for them-self. They lack the inspiration, motivation to breakthrough the barriers and shackles that’s holding them back. They’re stuck in reactivity patterns rather than being able to respond more appropriately to challenges.

They fail because they haven’t truly resolved the main issues that’s held then stuck in the rut. Essentially, to make a resolution a reality we need a solution. It’s not the challenges that’s really the problem. It’s more-so the way that we choose to perceive them. Our perception can determine whether we react or more-so consciously respond to the situations.
