July is typically considered as the ‘money month’. It’s when people tend to worry about things like tax, etc. However, we need to remember that money is merely a reflection of other aspects of our life. Moreso, it’s important to have balance and harmony throughout the various aspects of our life. To facilitate this, we need to enhance our ‘self-awareness’. Let’s look at how we may facilitate this.
Self-Awareness
Moreso than just a destination, ‘self-awareness’ is an ongoing journey of self-discovery. It’s about awakening an appreciation, a deeper understanding of who we are. As we connect more with our inner world we may be more conscious of how it interacts with the external world.
Furthermore, as we enhance self-awareness, observing our own thoughts, feelings and behaviors we may also become more aware of our own core values. With a greater emotional intelligence, being more authentic and more in tune with your own needs you may also enjoy clearer decision making. Hence, with this enhanced wisdom, you may also find yourself with enhanced health, wealth and a happier life.
Meditation
It’s well acknowledged how meditation can help to improve the quality of our life. Practicing meditation can help us to become more aware of our thoughts and feelings in the present moment. Although it’s not well known, there are many different types of meditation. It does not necessarily require you to sit still and try to think of nothing. A very powerful meditation technique is simply to enhance our breath awareness.
Simply, we may say that meditation is about being a mediator, between our inner and outer worlds. As we practice this, we may become more responsive rather than reactive. Then, from a more conscious perspective, we are more likely to successfully negotiate life’s various challenges to achieve better outcomes. As a mediator, awareness of our breath is so important.
Breath Awareness
Sadly, so many people now-a-days breathe poorly. Most people, most of the time are not aware of their breathing. Often this may be due to so many distractions in todays modern world. Along with poor breathing, this may present us with many other problems. Many people are ‘stressed’. Maybe, they’re feeling anxious, in overwhelm, are confused, and in conflict. This may adversely affect our breathing. As an example, with short, fast and shallow chest breathing, mouth breathing and over-breathing. These chronic, poor breathing patterns can then lead to many other health issues. Simply, these problems could be because we’ve lost awareness our our breath.
We can easily stop being a victim of modern day ‘life-limiting’ illnesses by re-discovering the art of breathing. Enhancing breath awareness can turn things around for the better. Basically, learning how to breath better can help us with living a happier life. Simply by enhancing our breathing, we can easily improve our daily performance in so many aspects of life.

I’m so fortunate that several decades ago I happened to stumble upon an ancient, powerful breathing practice. I’ve actually experienced for myself how this simple and yet also powerful breathing technique can help to improve lives. Since then, as I’ve shared this with others, how they too are amazed, through their own experience just how powerful this breathing can be. I present this now as a 1 full day seminar and ‘play-shop’.
