Intuitive Eating

Are you confused about food, nutrition, diets and detoxification? 

Maybe you’re not sure what to eat, or what you shouldn’t eat, don’t know your nutritional requirements, what diet to follow or what detoxification protocol to do? Understandably, as there’s much confusion because there’s so much contradictory information. It seems what one seemingly expert says, another says virtually the opposite! If we think about it, there’s so many factors to consider. Such as the season, time of day, where we are, what we’re doing, our metabolic type, blood type and so. And by the time we sit down to sort it all out, it’s probably going to change anyway. Most likely because we’re thinking too much about it.

A Non-Diet Approach

I’ve a confession to make. For over 30 years, I’ve had an aversion to dealing with these issues of food, nutrition, diets and so on. The main reason is that I’ve heard so much contradictory information on these topics. I’d say I’ve attended maybe hundreds of talks, seminars, etc. on these related topics over 35 years. What I’ve found is that so many have presented diabolically opposite points of view. What advice one has given, is almost exactly the opposite to another. So, it’s no wonder that people are confused. That’s why I wrote this book I call ‘Intuitive Eating’.

Intuitive Eating E-Book

So this book on ‘intuitive eating came about from so much contradictory advice over many years. Much of what I share in this book is unlikely to be found in other books or on the internet. Therefore, you may be asking, how you can trust this information. This book isn’t about telling you what’s right or wrong about food. This book is not about telling you what you should and should not eat. We all hear much of that in books, magazines, internet and so on. The overall premise is that the wisdom should ideally come from within us. Intuitive eating is both a philosophy and a practice. It’s about you becoming your own expert.

Enhancing Intuitive Eating

In many ways, intuitive eating it’s very different to traditional diets. It isn’t about following someone else’s guidelines about what to eat and what to avoid. Intuitive eating is about empowering yourself. It’s about acknowledging that you are the best person to make the choices of how you eat. Overall, to develop intuitive eating we need to build a better relationship with food. We can do this by enhancing the connection with our gut brain. Neuroscientists call this our ‘enteric’ brain. It functions very differently to our head brain. However, especially nowadays you may find that there’s so many inhibitors to listening to our gut instincts. This is because, much of what we eat is so much based on our beliefs. It’s like our mind is programmed. But what if often, many of these ideas and beliefs aren’t necessarily true? This ‘Intuitive Eating’ book is primarily about enhancing our mind and body connection. It’s about developing ways of bringing the mind back into the body for a more deep and meaningful eating experience.
